Children with special needs have special rights. Come learn what their rights are and how to advocate for them. Due to the trauma all foster youth face, foster parents must be informed about the process in place to assist our children as they navigate the school system. What must I have to enroll a foster youth in school? Is there tutoring provided for my struggling foster youth? How do I provide help for my foster youth with emotional difficulties? What are my responsibilities? This class will answer these questions and many more you may have. You are the greatest advocate in the life of the children who are in your home.  Presented by: Gayle Gordon  Featuring:  A guest speaker from the Disability Rights of California.
