In celebration of the March 11, 1818 publication of Mary Shelley's gothic romantic novel, Frankenstein, join us for the closing Frankenstein 200 event taking place in the Villa Diodati inspired  art installation room with fours staged readings by Heidi Honeycutt, Sadie Katz, Gabriela Lopez de Dennis and Miriam Peniche.  Mary Shelley wrote Frankenstein during an unusually dark and stormy summer along Lake Geneva, Switzerland at the Villa Diodati.  Ages 18+.

You’ll learn essential techniques, how to break down a script, how to create and develop believable characters through effective use of imagination and how to breathe life into every scene and movement you make.  You’ll learn how to create a performance that genuinely moves people emotionally.  Overcome fear and have fun with acting! Your classroom for this hilariously funny and insightful workshop-style course takes place at The Clown House, a real-life performance studio.  You'll get to try out your act on a real stage with a real microphone in hand and lights shining down you.  At the end of the course, students will have an opportunity to perform a stand-up piece as part of Comedy Revival Showcase at Hollywood’s famous Comedy Store.
